Based off of my best selling dagger themed letter openers , these unique hair pins are sure to be a hit! The hair pins feature a scaled down version of the handle found on my dagger letter openers. Each hair pin is individually hand forged in rural Appalachia and also comes with a Barrette/ hair clip. While the points of these aren’t sharpened, the handle allows the wearer to quickly grab and use the hair pin as a improvised tool against would be assailants. Iron is the Traditional 6 year wedding anniversary gift, Steel is the 11th year. The words Iron and Steel are almost always used interchangeably in Blacksmithing due to the availability of materials Items that would have been made from Wrought Iron, are now made from mild low carbon steel, the closest we as modern smiths can find readily available.
