Raindrop Damascus Flint Striker Hand forged from CCIW Damascus
These unique Damascus flint strikers, sometimes called fire steels are individually hand forged at my blacksmith shop in rural Appalachia. These special strikers start off as an alternating stack of 1084 and 15n20 steels to first create a billet of material. Brand new for 2025 I’m now adding Raindrop Damascus strikers to my ever growing catalog of work. Being 100 percent handmade and Damascus steel, Each striker will be unique. The photos are examples of the Damascus strikers I have already forged. After heat treating I test each striker to ensure they spark well.
